PLACE TO SKATE | Barceloneta

Some of the most famous places in Barcelona have always been interesting spots for skaters, both to do freeskate and to skate in peace, appreciating the city famous landscapes and buildings.

However, there is a district that combines the exclusive charm of the Catalan metropolis with construction close to the sea and a series of narrow, characteristic streets, ideal to be ridden on board our skates. It is the Barceloneta, a district built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries to give accommodation to the displaced people from the neighborhood where the Ciudadella was built.

Coming from the Passeig de Colom, we pass the aquarium and then we dive right into the heart of this quarter, famous for being home to sailors, fishermen and to have the best fresh fish in the whole city. We can go through the maze of streets that cut vertically and horizontally Barceloneta, then veer decided on the Passeig Maritim and take us on the seafront, with a breathtaking scenography: on one side the Catalan city, rich in colors and shades, on the other the sea, an incredible blue.

Continuing on the coast, after a few hundred meters we say goodbye to Barceloneta and reach the Olympic village, a natural continuation of the Barcelona beach. A path that lends itself to any type of skate and all the fun possible.
