MGM S.p.A. and Fila International announce the renewal of the licence agreementFriday 14th March
MGM S.p.A. and Fila Luxembourg today announced the renewal of licensing agreement for the production of Inline skates under FILA brand. Under the terms of the agreement MGM was granted a worldwide exclusive licence to produce and sell Skates for a period of 12 years, with renewal option for same or longer period.
“I am sure the new long term arrangement will give to MGM even more energy to reach leading position in our business” announced Mr Enzo Prandina, MGM S.p.A. President
MGM will continue producing and distributing the popular Fila Inline skates, and will soon start the production of Fila Ice Skates under the same license agreement. The very long term of the renewal will give confidence to MGM for heavy investment in the business

In the last 5 season, MGM introduced several innovation and patents into the inline skating market, including the popular 100mm wheels and the carving skate, products able to change the standards in the industry.
